Recognition of student achievement
Student achievement, effort and improvement in key learning areas and citizenship is recognised through our award system. Merit awards are presented at weekly assemblies along with house points which accumulate to the weekly house awards. The Merit Award System is a cumulative system culminating in the school’s highest honour, the West Pymble Gold. Recipients of this award are recognised once a term at a special Gold Assembly.
Winning House for the Year
Children in the winning house at the end of the year are rewarded for their efforts with a mystery outing. Mystery Day out is held in the second last week of Term 4.
K-2 Celebration of Learning
This is a morning presentation in the Assembly Hall to conclude the year. Entertainment is provided by Early Stage 1, Stage 1 or all students and the Year 2 Recorder group.
Year 3 - 6 Presentation Ceremony
Presentation ceremony is led by the school captains and teachers and held in the Assembly Hall. It is an overview of the year with KLA awards and sporting awards presented to merited students. Guest speakers and student performances are included in the ?.
