Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

West Pymble Public School uniform policy was decided at a special general meeting which unanimously endorsed the wearing of the school uniform by the pupils of this school. West Pymble Public School insists on sensible standards of clothing, grooming and personal cleanliness. The advantage of wearing school uniform includes the fostering of pride and a sense of belonging to this school; makes a valuable contribution towards sensible standards of clothing, grooming and cleanliness; reduces undesirable distinctions because of clothing; provides identification and increases security for the children. We thank all parents for their support in this matter.
